British Garmin - Transitions rider David Millar has taken the victory in the final European race of the season, clocking the best time in the Chrono des Nations while he set a new record as well.
The 48.5 kilometres long course in France had Laszlo Bodrogi atop the record list with a time of 59'18". Millar however was half a minute faster with his time of 58'53".
Edvald Boasson Hagen and Lieuwe Westra completed the podium with times over one hour.
